Flat Rooflight Overview

Our bespoke Flat Rooflight is a minimalist, fixed rooflight with a clean and simple exterior appearance and giving a ‘frameless’ internal view. Its design allows the maximum possible amount of natural daylight that can pass through your roof aperture to pour into your room.

The rooflight is available in bespoke sizes and in a modular system with option of silicon joint, aluminium support or glass fin.

Glazing Options

We can manufacture your bespoke Rooflights using a range of custom glass products with specialist specifications. These let you meet the requirements of almost any application. Options include double glazed units in:

  • Ultra clear (low iron)
  • Solar control SN70/35
  • Active Blue
  • Privacy

What’s more, all our rooflights have a toughened laminated inner pane, meaning they offer extra over head protection against accidental damage, injury or someone attempting to break in.

We have made various glazing options available online for quick and easy ordering, enabling you to get on immediately with construction of the upstand.

Available with standard or laminated glass specifications, pre-bonded to the frame for easy installation.

Rooflight drawings  are available for download to enable you to construct the upstand correctly.

Call or email us for a quote. We only need the finished weathered external kerb size, the type of Rooflight and the glass specification required to process an order.

Our Flat Rooflights are designed to be installed onto a kerb up-stand. This kerb should be a minimum of 150mm high to negate water ingress and should be level in one plane. The top of the kerb should be an angled plane to provide a pitch in order to help shed water from the glass and the kerb needs to be weathered.

Lead times for standard sizes are 2 to 3 weeks. Lead times for bespoke units range from  3-6 weeks, depending upon Rooflight type, glass spec and quantity required. To be 100% sure, please feel free to give us a call to discuss your project requirements
